Gloves up storyline

Starting with a black background and queuing the music to create affect also queuing the titles to create the tense/dramatic opening scene.

Based in the modern day of 2011 two young contenders go head to head in a title match. A UFC match with for the title... who will win? Will it be points or a knockout? All will be found out!!

Zee ' The Madman' Machete - The Heavyweight champion of the world holding the title for a total of 6 years has been challenged for his record by Chris 'Ground & Pound' Taylor! Zee being 30 years of age accepted the challenging and has currently gone into a months of hardcore UFC training! He plans to win the fight and keep his title for the remaining of his career.

Chris 'Ground & Pound' Taylor - The new man on the scene not loosing a fight yet has been training hard for the last 2 years preparing for an opportunity like this. Known for his dirty fighting Zee 'The Madman' Machete will be teaching him some lessons of UFC cage fighting

Seeing the two men in training tells me that this is gonna be a clash of the titan fight. One man Chris Taylor in 'Lions Gym' Hillfields home to the world champion kick boxer Sunny 'Hitman' Hira has had a rough upbringing but has a strong world class team to back him up and i am sure his belt will be placed on the wall in the gym for every body to see it when he wins.

The Gracie Barra UFC cage fighting academy based in London makes this an all British world class fight possibly drawing thousands/millions of viewers. With Zee being born in the area and watching the academy grow stronger and stronger he became a member at the gym at the age of just 16 and has been since in training and paid off as he hold the title for 6 years. With him having Gracie Barra himself pass down every little bit of skill he knows to Zee he will be using all he can against the young Chris Taylor.

The big day set to be on the 11th November will be an eye raising event, bringing a lot of money and fame to the team that wins. This will improve the clubs appearance.

The moral of the story is Zee wins the fight first time around and keeps his title and then Chris Taylor ends up in intensive care for the better half of a year with knee problems but after surgery and a reconstructed knee he comes out recovers and takes back where he left off. with him being knocked of his feet for nearly 8 months he has to start his career again with fighters he knows he can beat and getting his confidence back.

Thinking he is ready he challenges Zee to another fight a year later without his managers say so! Could this be consequential??

Idea 2

Relinquish II

The opening sequence starts of pitch black, in the background you can hear someone walking through the corridor with their heals echoing.Phone starts to ring. the character answers and says "im gunna be late". (Still pitch black) Text starts to appear at the Bottom "Starring (.....) . Then someone says in a foreign accent "get the bag" as he says bag you can hear a bag being zipped up. The scene fades into another scene which has a camera zoomed in at a door then 3 men dressed in black, one holding a bag walk out in slow motion with the text Relinquish II above their heads.

Initial idea 1

The opening sequence is about a 20 year old guy called John who lives under the bridge. He hasn't got much and it will show a few moments of what he's life is like as a homeless guy.

The opening sequence is about a 20 year old guy called John who is homeless living under a bridge and doesn't have much when a rich guy called Richard who lives across the street has everything but he is greedy and doesn't help the poor guy. But Johns luck changes when he finds a penny. He starts to find opportunities and he starts to make money and he is able to rent a house and live a proper life, but he keeps on making money. He starts hes on business and makes lots of money while Richard goes bankrupt and ends up having to go on the streets. They meet up one day but even though Richard didn't help John when he was homeless John helps Richard and buys him a house and employes him in his business.

Opening Sequence Analysis

This is England

The film was made to portray what England was like in 1983. It is about a young kid aged 12 called Shaun, his summer holidays have started and he gets himself involved with the wrong kind of people and it goes on from there, racism, unemployment and the hard life is shown as they want to get a message across.

The sequence starts with a famous puppet, Roland Rat and then the music kicks in, which plays throughout the whole sequence. Then it changes to titles and it keeps switching from titles to something related to England back in 1983 e.g. a TV show. The reason i think they did this is so that viewers have a clear idea of when the film was set and the kind of things they will see. The titles are in a rough text with a black background and i think they want to show the era was rough and peoples lives weren't easy. This is a continuous trend for 3 minutes 20, As then the music fades out and the click fades out to a black screen finally finishing.

Opening sequence analysis-Zombieland

Zombieland

This is a comedy horror film about zombies and how one guy tries to run away from the zombies, he then meets a girl and then she gets in trouble and he saves her.

Opening sequence

The opening sequence shows zombies taking over America and shows a few gruesome scenes of zombies eating humans with a commentary on how to avoid and gives his rules. This is made with a sense of comedy. Then it shows short a few funny moments with zombies running after people and shows a few titles and names of actors, backed up with some fast pacing rock music.

Opening sequence analysis

300

This film is about an army of 300 best Spartans soldiers who go out to war. They kill a lot of the enemy but all the soldiers eventually die.

Opening sequence

In the opening sequence it goes through a sort of slow motion battle. The background is a light yellow sky background which makes the dark figures stand out. Their is a lot of spears flying about and when they kill someone red smudges stand out to represent the blood spiting out over the camera. The titles appear in red over the black areas and makes it stand out and easier to read and as the camera moves on to a different angle different titles and credits appear. There is also has music in the background which increases the tension of the opening sequence.
